• E M Wilcox, which produces a wide range of standard specification curtainsiders for heavy-duty operation, is fitting a patented steel cant rail to all Wilcotaut curtainsiders.
The stressed cant rail has an integral rain gutter and curtain tracking. In addition to providing all-round weather protection with special curtain loop attachments, no centre supports are needed on bodies of up to 8m in length.
Curtains are easy-to-clean 2x2 heavy-duty weave 900 Wm polyester with reinforcement to prevent accidental tearing and increase load security.
Roofs are aluminium sheet or glassfibre and nylon curtain rollers are used.
