Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

" WHERE there are roads 8 ft. wide we can go", said Mr. Keith Paynter, managing director of West European Transport Ltd., during a luncheon given aboard the Transport Ferry Service's " Cerdic Ferry" on Wednesday.

Although the company has only been operating a few weeks, Mr. Paynter said that as a measure of its growth 82 movements had been effected in 18 days. The trailer fleet, with current orders, consisted of 30 trailers with 12 containers and tankers, he continued. Both smalls and groupage shipments were carried to and from distribution networks in Holland, Belgium, France, Germany and Britain. Giving an idea of costs, Mr. Paynter said charges were about £2 up to 2 cwt. from London to Rotterdam, and £8 10s. per ton from Slough to Brussels.

The company was set up in close association with Carman's Transport Ltd., of Stoke-on-Trent, and Westram NV.. in Rotterdam.
