\lissan, the latest player in the used van sector, is on course to match the

esiJua1s enjoyed by market favourites Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz hen Nissan launched rebadged Renaults and Vauxhalls in the UK three years ago, some pundits doubted that our crowded marketplace could absorb more of the same.

"While we're still only seeing a handful of used models coming back into the used market. they're generally performing well." he reports."The Navara pickup is still highly sought after. as the used prices in our table reinforce."

Residual-value specialist CAP predicts Nissan residuals are growing to match the used van sector's leading commodities produced by Volkswagen and Mercedes. Early CAP Monitor assessments estimated the Nissan Primastar would be worth 34% of its new value three years down the line, just off the pace set by the VW Transporter. •
