• Drivers' 1995 pay rises are averaging 3-4% Following the second and

third Joint Industrial Council regional agreements.

In East Anglia and Hertfordshire the Road Haulage Association and the Transport & General Workers Union have agreed on a 3% increase backdated to 1 January with a £1 rise in overnight subsistence to £17.28.

Drivers in the East Midlands will get a 3.25% rise with a £1 increase in subsistence to £19.62.
