AThere is a vast literature on this subject
and many pamphlets are available from professional bodies such as the Institute of Personnel Management, the Industrial Society, and the National Institute of Industrial Psychology.
A useful pocket-sized booklet containing a selection of generally accepted maxims on human relations is published privately by D. J. Slingsby, Hillfoot, Ben Rhydding Drive, Ilkley, Yorks. This is designed for issue to all grades of staff but it is perhaps most suitable for management trainees and supervisors, though intelligent workers of any grade would benefit from it.
