Despite operating the majority of the Steel Bro sidelifters in the UK, Containerlift is still the New Zealand-based company's agent in the country.
Containerlift managing director Joost Baker says distributing the products is a small part of the business. "While sidehfters are very popular in Australia and New Zealand, they are unique in the UK container haulage industry. This is because of the volume of inland container movements that are controlled by the shipping lines and the sidelifter does not fit into their high-volume model."
