• The breath test limit is 35 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
• If the lower of two breath tests done at the police station is 39mcg or below, you may be released with a caution.
• If the lower reading is between 40 and 50mcg, the police must offer you the opportunity of a more accurate brood or urine test.
• The blood test limit is 80 milligrammes of aIcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
