'Cocoa-covered' illegals nabbed

A GROUP OF 15 illegal immigrants were arrested at a Mars factory "covered in cocoa powder" last week when they tried to smuggle themselves into the UK in a 37-tonne tanker.

The men, aged between 20 and 40, had hidden themselves in the truck as it delivered the cocoa to the factory in Slough, Berkshire.

Three other men were arrested at the same time in another truck headed for a different destination.

The operator of the trucks was not named, but both drivers are understood to have been Dutch.

A spokesman for the UK Border Agency says the men arrested were all of Middle Eastern origin and were taken to police stations in Slough and Maidenhead.
