Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Why Mercedes-Benz Sprinter CDi is leading an exodus from dealers.

II you are on the look out for a bargain panel van then Glass's Information Services can point you towards a money-spirmer. Chief editor of commercial vehicles George Alexander says the 3.5-tonne, large, powerful, panel vans are at the forefront for trade customers, who are snapping them up at the first time of asking. Leading the large is the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter CDi, and especially the 313 CDi. Even those with high mileage are going quickly. he reports. Mercedes now handles used vehicles in-house and it's the MB dealerships with the manufactur er's back up and warranties which are selling the late-year examples, not the independents. The Ford Transit 350 is hampered by high volume, but clean, lowmileage models have nonetheless commanded indicated book price. Trade is keen on the popular 35-tonne chassis fitted with a Luton body. with demand strong for longer bodies. There is a current shortage of Lutons on the market.

Middleweight vans, such as the Transit T260 and T280,Volkswagen Transporter,Mereedes-Benz Vito and any make of Japanese CV. are providing the most interest in the used panel van market, according to Alexander.

Late-year Renault Tralics are now appearing in higher numbers and achieving Glass's Guide book prices but Alexander warns that although too many on the open market can affect values, so far prices have remained steady.

The mid-weight Nem Daily continues to struggle against strong competition. and one-tonne payload panel vans from the PSA group and Fiat are receiving a mixed reception. Only Relays, Boxers and Ducatos on 2001 with low mileage are commanding recommended retail prices.
