Overcoming cynicism
Board member Andy Boyle, boss of ABE (Ledbury), gives us his view: "I think that when small hauliers read about it they'll think Oh, more jobs for the boys, another waste of money' and [the body) will be treated with the cynicism that these things usually receive. It's up to us at SfL to wrap it up and package it in a more appealing and exciting way than the RHDTC was.
"SfL will have to get out there and win over the smaller haulier I'm here to ensure that funding is available for everybody not just the big logistics firms.
"The discussions we've had so far as a board have been overwhelmingly positive and long may it continue."
