nd now let's hear a fanfare of trumpets for the jubilant winners of the LAGTA Trainee of the Year Award. At this, the training company's 25th award ceremony, top prize was scooped up by Lorraine McAtear, 18. Lorraine has completed her level 2N1K) in business administration and is working for KRG Precision Engineering in Coatbridge. Gary Thompson, 18, a heavy vehicle mechanic at Central Motors in Airdrie took the Craft Trainee of the year award. Adult trainee of the year award went to Donna Dillon, 27, who manages the offices of Pheonix security in Coatbridge. Presenting the three with their prizes is racing driver Marino Franchitti. Ah so young! They have it all before them, unlike the I lawk who's had it behind him for a considerable time.
