Monitor classes

• Leafield AVM, the Tamworth-based company involved in fleet management information systems, has begun a series of two-day training courses aimed at operators of large fleets from HGVs to light vans. The aim is to provide a full understanding of using VeMIS, the on-board computer vehicle monitoring system. Scheduled courses will be in Tamworth, Staffs.

Austrian Ecotags

• It is possible to pay for the Austrian Ecotags, introduced at the start of the year, using a DKV card. DRV says companies travelling through Austria should apply immediately to the relevant national authority for a registration certificate for the vehicles concerned. Every vehicle travelling through Austria can obtain an Ecotag directly from initialisation points.
