Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Midland-Grau has just launched the Info-Centre, a "smart" unit which is available as an option with the new Modular ABS Series for trailers. The purpose of the device is to provide odometer and ABS diagnostic read-out menus, plus service information concerning trailer operation.

Measuring 100x60mm, the Info-Centre can be fitted to the side, head or tail of the trailer and is connected to the ABS unit via a diagnostic connector cable. The unit is powered with what Midland-Grau describes as revolutionary batteries, developed for the technology used by NASA on the Mars Rover Vehicle. They are said to provide up to 10 years of service life.

The odometer facility offers a number of advantages over standard mechanical units. Not only does it measure braking mileage hut also the total mileage of the trailer. Also, the odometer itself works without a permanent power source, is independent of braking operation and can be configured to exact wheel sizes.

Using Info-Centre, MidlandGrau says problems can be located faster, meaning minimum downtime. The unit uses latest generation electronics together with the most recent manufacturing and integration techniques.
