Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE CMSpecial Offer homestudy course for the Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Haulage (International) is now available to students; the next International exam is on February 25, 1983.

There will be four more exams next year, in April, June, October and December.'

Holders of National operators' licences are unable to embark on international journeys until they hold an International licence. Newcomers to the industry must remember that to work abroad they must hold both National and International operators' licences.

This current CMSpecial Offer is made in conjunction with Road Transport Correspondence Courses of Esher, Surrey. Each student is allocated to one of two experienced tutors — Eddie Pargeter and Frank Lewsey (Witney 3481), who may be phoned for advice and guidance if there are any problems.

The course is issued in two modules divided into sections, with self-assessment questions at the end of each section. Two mock examinations are included which should be answered and returned to the coruse tutor for marking.

The course is shorter than the Natonal course and the International examination comprises 30 questions compared to 60 questions in the Natonal examination, but this is offset to some extent by the complexity of the subject matter.
