• The radio doctor emergency service as practised in East Yorkshire (CM January 8) has spread across the Border to the Scottish south eastern counties division of the British Medical Association.
A BMA spokesman said this week that already the association had sufficient doctors available to operate the scheme. Dr A. S. Brodie, medical superintendent of the Border Hospitals' Board of Management, said that he expected the scheme to be in Operation very soon.
