a new L heavy vehicle park in the Emerald Street district of Leicester which will have maximum security arrangements and also a hostel and canteen for drivers. The park would be near the Ml access and away from the centre of the city. Talks on its layout have been in progress between City Council officials and representatives of the Road Haulage Association and of the Transport and General Workers' Union.
