CHARGES for road haulage or for
the hire of goods vehicles are no longer limited to amounts which would have been fair and reasonable in July, 1939, with the addition of a percentage reflecting increases in costs since that month.
The provisions which imposed this limit—the Road Haulage and Hire (Charges) Order, 1942, and the Road Haulage and Hire (Charges) (Amendment) Order, 1946, have been revoked by the Road Haulage and Hi re (Charges) (Revocation) Order, 1954, which came into force on February 9.
