John Woods becomes general manager of Wincanton Chilled Distribution, part of Wincanton Transport Ltd. Brian Woods, an international transport and haulage contract specialist, has been made managing director of MTV lnterna

tional Transport. Mr Woods joined MTV Trade Services Group only two months ago, and now finds himself in charge of the new division of MTV recently set up to specialise primarily in fragile and delicate goods transportation. He will be based at Campion House, Franchise Street, Kidderminster.

Lex Tillotson has appointed David Morrow managing director. He has been with the Lex group for nine years, starting as a service manager for the company and working through to general manager of Tillotson's Bristol branch before his new appointment.

Two directors of Edbro Ltd, David Taylor and Dr John Wor ton-Griffiths, have been elected to the board of parent company Edbro (Holdings) Ltd. David Taylor is a former trade apprentice with the machine-tool makers Churchill and Redman, Halifax.

He joined Edbro in Bolton in 1977 as manufacturing manager and became a director in 1979.

John Griffiths has joined Edbro as engineering director of a hydraulics manufacturing plant in Turkey. He became technical manager in 1979 and a director in 1980.
