SO road haulage licensing costs are now under official scrutiny If this belated inquiry is conducted as urgently and thoroughl. as the needs of the times dictate, the report will make sizzling reading
I hear that the utility of drivers' log sheets is also being questioner by the back-room boys. If, as is to be hoped, the Ministry decide to scrap the lot, many drivers and operators will be overjoyed. Bu I fancy a substantial minority will not readily agree to divest them selves of their "chains".
