pulling out of Truckfest, but the May Bank Holiday event will still go ahead, following an all-clear from the East of England Development Agency's foot-and-mouth taskforce.
Volvo spokesman Richard Smith says the Swedish manufacturer is withdrawing from all outdoor exhibitions over the next three months "as a precautionary measure." Daf will still sponsor Truckfest FM.
EEDA board member Marie Skinner, says: "The East of England countryside is open for all to enjoy and we encourage visitors to come and take advantage of the many special events over the forthcoming bank holidays.'
As Commercial Motor closed for press Isuzu still planned to exhibit at Truckfest, on 6-7 May at the East of England Showground.
