Olau Line has introduced al additional freight-only ferry c its Sheerness-Flushing (Holland) route.
The new ship is the MV Wuppertal and is the sister sl to the MV Westertal, the existing freight-only ship on the route. It enables Olau Lir to double the frequency of th freight-only sailings from three-a-week to six-a-week. Crossing time is 12-14 hours
Up to 65x 12m trailers can be accommodated on the MI/ Wuppertal and hazardous cargoes are acceptable. ID Sally Line is to have a new terminal in Dunkirk for: Ramsgate-Dunkirk service. The FEr60 million terminal il being built and financed by tt Port Autonome de Dunkirk. Work begins on the project i three months' time and it should be completed in the spring of 1987.
