• Heronfreight, the Heron Group distribution specialist which traded until recently as Bailey's of Westbury, has secured a contract from Zanussi to store and distribute domestic white goods to the Cornet warehouse chain.
It has undertaken other retail deliveries for Zanussi for the past 10 years.
For the extended
I
contract, it will move around one million white goods annually, 85 per cent of them being transported direct to Zanussi distribution points throughout the United Kingdom.
The remaining 15 per cent are being handled through Heronfre.ight's depot at Rownharns, Southampton.
