Toyota takes the wraps off new Hilux
TOYOTA HAS REVEALED details of its 2009 Hilux with a host of revisions, both inside and out.
The exterior gets a revised front grille, while the H3 and Invincible get redesigned alloy wheels, 15in and 17in respectively.
There's also a new five-speed automatic box on the 3.0 0-40 double-cab, which increases maximum torque by 17Nm to 360Nm — fuel economy is also said to improve.
Inside, there is a modified instrument cluster and controls, and sports seats for double-cab versions. Ride and handling have been tweaked with the addition of new rear axle bearings and valve structure on the front suspension.
The revamped 2009 Hilux goes on sale at the end of this year.
