Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Goldhofer lighter to save money

WITH HEAVY haulage, it's all about axle weight. So, after more than 18 tonnes were removed from its drawbar module, the Goldhofer STZ-H10 10-axle trailer can now haul a payload of 100 tonnes.

The special types trailer, which has a 30-tonne kerb weight, will make its debut at the IAA show in Hannover later this month. Andover Trailers sales director Ivan Collins says Goldhofer has raised the bar with the STZ-H10 in terms of user-friendliness through its clearly arranged central control panel, where all adjustments can be carried out quickly.

"In many countries, transit fees are calculated by axle load, which in turn means transport companies will save money through operating this 10-axle model." he adds.

At 40km/h, the trailer has a gross weight of 151 tonnes, with a payload of 121.2 tonnes. At 80km/h the maximum permissible payload is 96.2 tonnes.
