I London University's programme for the :ertificate and the Diploma in Transport itudies for the 1970/71 session has been :nnounced.
The three courses comprising the certificate tudies are transport economics, transport ind economic geography and studies in :ontemporary transport problems. The fourth ourse, research in transport, leads to the liplorna.
The certificate may be taken as a twoor hree-year course for which both day-time and vening classes are held.
On completion of the course certificate iolders have the opportunity to undertake a ear's part-time research which leads to a )iploma in Transport Studies.

The University Transport Studies Society has organized two six-lecture courses in transport studies. The first, "A Roads Policy for the future", is to be held on six consecutive Tuesday evenings from October 13 to November 17. The second course, "Freight Transport in the 1970s", is to be held on six consecutive Wednesday evenings from Frebruary 3 1971 to March 10 1971.
