• From mid-October London Transport is to raise the price of Red Rover tickets from 7s to 8s as part of the fare changes granted by the GLC in May—the first increase in more than two years. The delay in the price increase was allowed to help travel agents during their busy season. Red Rover tickets cover travel anywhere on Red bus routes after 9.30 a.m. from Monday to Friday, with no restriction at weekends or Bank Holidays.
