• It was confirmed this week that Mr Frank B. Ford is the man behind the offer by Capitarium Ltd for Duple Motor Bodies Ltd.
We have, however, been asked to make clear that it was Mr J. McHugh and Mr P. B. Brunton, and not Mr Ford (CM last week), who were directors of Fbcible (UK) Ltd when this company was established to build US buses in this country under licence. Mr Ford was, however, engaged in the negotiations to secure the Fbdble licence and jigs and tools.
It is understood that the UK company is presently owned by Mr McHugh.
