FOLLOWING its long-standing custom, the Institute of Public Cleaning, after having a southern conference this year, will be returning northward for 1965. This time Scarborough is to be the venue and proceedings will extend over the period June 1-4. The choice of a location is no easy matter, as only a few resorts in the, country have accommodation w spare for 1,000 or more visitors, as well as a large conference hall, space for a permanent exhibition, an arena for the cleansing appliance demonstrations, and ground suitable for the various earthmoving units to disport themselves,
