singledecker bus chassis have been ordered by Chesterfield Corporation Transport, which already has 25 underfloor-engined single-deckers in service or on order, including 23 Reliances.
The new buses will be fitted with 30-it., 42-seat, front-entrance, central-exit bodies of similar layout to those already in service in the town. They will be operated on " one-man " bus services, or with a conductor, carrying up to eight standing passengers when on the former services, or 18 when operated on normal services.
