Profits Are Well Up

FAVOURABLE trading conditions continue, reported the Transport Development Group when results for the six months ending on June 30 last were announced this week. Pre-tax profits for the period were £L658,837, compared with £1,228.950 in 1963.

Group income increased from £9,863,000 in the 1963 six-month period to £11,605,000 this year. It was pointed out that when comparing the currem half-year with 1963, it must be remembered that the early 1963 months were affected by extremely cold weather.
