THE headquarters staff of British Road Services Ltd., the general haulage company in the B.R.S. group, and B.R.S. (Contracts) Ltd. moved from Melbury House, Marylebone, London, N.W.1, to new offices in Whetstone High Road last week-end. The office will be open for business on September 14.
The offices are in a new 12-storey block on the A1000, the old Great North Road, and British Road Services Ltd. have taken the seventh floor. The new address is
British Road Services Ltd., Northway House, High Road, Whetstone, London, N.20. (Tel.: Hillside 0035.) Nearest railway station is Totteridge on the Northern Line. Oakleigh Park station on the main line from King's Cross is 10 minutes' walk away.
The registered office of the company remains at Melbury House, at which the headquarters staff of B.R.S. Federation Ltd. and B.R.S. (Parcels) Ltd. continue to be located.
