MR. N. R. KIRKBY, who has just been appointed general sales manager of Crocla, Ltd., Goole, will be making a tour of the company's Continental associates next month.
MR. C. J. GRIFFIIIIS has been promoted district manager of the Chester and Colwyn Bay branches of Kerry's (Great Britain), Ltd. He was formerly assistant manager at Ipswich.
Ma. H. E. ELLS has assumed control of all .A.C.V., Ltd., publicity matters under the newly created title of public relations manager. Former advertising mahager, Mrs. L. M. CaumP, is the assistant publicity manager, and will continue to handle paid advertising matters.
Ma. F. DoNActiv has been appointed a part-time member of the British Transport Commission in succession to CAPT. SIR IAN BOLTON, who has retired. He is a member of the Scottish area board of the Commission and was a member of the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for Scotland from 1954-1958.
MR. W. P. Burt-wimp, joint managing director, and MR. LESLIE JONES, commercial manager of W. P. Butterfield, Ltd., have joined the board of Bradley and Co., Ltd., since the ordinary shares of the company have been acquired by the Butterfield organization. MR. T. L. PERRY, chairman, and MR. A. H. THOMPSON, director, of Bradley and Co., Ltd., join the Butterfield board.
B.R.S. MANAGEMENT CHANGES THE board of management of British I Road Services is to be reconstituted from October 1, in consequence of the appointments of Maj.-Gen. G. N. Russell, as a member of the British Transport Commission, and of Mr. T. G. Gibb, as general manager of B.R.S. From that date members of the board will be:— Mr. T. G. Gibb (chairman), Mr. G. F. Sinclair; Mr, H. W. Elliott; Mr. I. B. Garrett and Mr. C. Barrington.
As a result of these changes the membership of the boards of other B.R.S. companies will be:
