-DP,OMINENT among modern labour-saving tools for use ..11 in connection with bodybuilding and other jobs which involve the use of saws may be named the Skilsaw. This appliance is a portable, electrically driven, circular saw, and it has already gained an excellent-reputation in this country and in the U.S.A., where it is manufactured. It has been introduced to British users through the agency of the Rothermel Corporation, Ltd., 24 and 26, Maddox Street, Regent Street, London, 'W.1.

Several standard models of the Skilsaw are produced, there being three which are capable of cutting to a depth of 1i his., 24 ins. and 4i ins., respectively. ensures that the operator shall be adequately protected. The device is equipped with ball-bearings throughout, Which feature should make_ for a long working rife, besides easy running.

The circular saw blades are of a standard type. and are thus easily replaceable should this become necessary; the-y

can be quickly detached by :unscrewing a heavy .bolt. A trigger-type switch is likewise incorporated in the guiding handle, this giving complete 'control over the motor.

It is interesting to note that the Skilsaw Model E. weighs only 18 lb. and that oilier Models in the range are suitable for dealing with harder substances than ordinary timber,
