Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

My time in Tanzania was more challenging than my earlier work for Transaid in Zambia. Last time, I worked on improving existing standards; but I felt that LGV instructor skills in Tanzania were less developed as previously the training had concentrated on bus driver training.

That said, the instructors were enthusiastic, willing to adapt the training to suit the local conditions, and I’m sure they’ll make effective instructors for the institute.

Being ill was a challenge and I saw some difficult sights, but especially in a time of austerity I am grateful to Bibby Distribution for funding this trip and giving me the time to volunteer and potentially save lives with Transaid. We really are making a difference, and Patrick, Daniel and William are well on their way to being able to pass on their new skills to more driver trainers. By the end of this year, they hope to have trained a further three instructors, which will not only save more lives on the roads but also ensure that this type of training becomes locally sustainable.
