America, through its German subsidiary, Fruehauf Internationale A.G., is to get a one-third stake in the ordinary share capital of Cranes (Dereham) Ltd. This is revealed in a statement to Cranes' shareholders giving details of a rights issue of £180,000 Convertible Loan Stock and the taking over of Crane Fruehauf
Trailers as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Fruehauf Internationale A.G. is to take up 40 per cent of the new Convertible Stock plus as much more as is needed to give the concern one third of Cranes' equity. Encouraging prospects for the Cranes Group are reported with order books in a very healthy state
