Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

5ypital isn't it. What's the yoof of today coming to? You can't even leave a virgin Fruehauf bathtub tipping trailer lying around before some vandal comes along and gives it the aerosol treatment.

Fortunately, this groovy example of psychedelic subway art was deliberately commissioned by Fruehauf as an "unusual" exhibit for its TipCon stand. It certainly got people talking—and sold within an hour of the show opening to Vantkirk Produce of Leeds.

Given the fact that there's hardly a square inch of public property that isn't today covered by graffiti you would have thought they would have had no problem finding a suitable "artiste" to decorate their bathtub.

But it seems that aerosol kids are like policemen— there's never one around when you want one. Perhaps they feared a "sting" from the Old Bill. Fruehauf eventually tracked down Christian Roadley-Battin of Bury St Edmunds who must have thought his birthday and Christmas had come all at once. His handiwork stood proudly at Harrogate.

The Hawk would like to know 1: If it's er...art?

2: If it qualifies for an Arts Council Grant? And 3: Will Fruehauf be offering it as an optional finish for tippermen?

After a night on the tiles the sight of a psychedelic tipper at dawn could just be enough to make anyone take the pledge.
