• Mr Len Votier, managing director of the Norwich-based firm Mascot Coaches, whose turnover is now approaching the £200,000 mark, has been fired by his company.
Mr Votier is reported as saying that he was removed as managing director last month and removed from the board altogether following a meeting on April 30. It is understood he still has a share interest in the family business he helped to build up.
In recent years the company has specialind in Continental holiday work and has proved very successful. It is understood no immediate plans for any changes in the business are intended.
Mascot Coaches Ltd is part of a sevenCompany group within Votier Holdings Ltd.
This week Mr Votier had no comment to make on his future and said everything was in the hands of his legal advisers. He described the matter as a family dispute.
