Danesbury Freight Services employs 70 people and has a £5m turnover. "We've grown by being a one-stop shop," says managing director Steve Ball. "We offer air and deep-sea freight, taxis, motorcycle outriders, road haulage and warehousing. We joined our local Business Link in congleton after being recommended to it. "We didn't have a specific need for anything at the time," he explains. "We joined and the Link appointed a personal business advisor to look after us. Once we did join we saw the benefits. At the time we were involved with the automotive industry and we needed ISO 9000. Although the Link couldn't help us with money, it did give us some very good advice.
