Winning team II Commercial Motor has been voted "Editorial Team of the Year" by UK Press Gazette, the trade magazine of the publishing industry CM beat 50 other business and trade magazines.
Renault loss • Renault VI Group recorded a net loss of FF1,623m (£208m) in 1992, compared to a FF23m (12.95m) profit the year before, on a turnover of FF25.2b (£3.2b). The losses include a provision of FF612m (£78.5m) for restructuring.
Van walk-out • Ford Courier and Fiesta van production was halted on two days of last week as leaked job loss plans led to an unofficial walk out at the company's Dagenham factory Dealer dismay • Leyland Daf dealers say the poster campaign attacking the Government for not helping the Anglo-Dutch manufacturer out of its financial crisis is "untimely and misplaced".
