re are in limbo—our VV industry is in limbo. ff the Government wants an easy, painless way to restimulate our economy, it must do what it will have to do at some stage: stop pontificating and fall into line with European weights from 1 January 1994 or earlier.
Our manufacturers will then know what to build. Our industry will know what to buy,.and we will then be competing on equal terms with the Europeans The annual number of vehicle movements will be reduced. Everyone is a winner because we shall be more efficient!
