IDgroup of Foden admirers have set up a society called, logically enough, The Foden Society. Sadly, the majority of marque appreciation clubs can do no more than keep glorious memories alive. In this case, of course, the marque is very much alive and has given its blessing to the new club, which caters for all Fodens from 1856 onwards.
As well as the trucks themselves, eligible goodies include WWII Crusader tanks, steam traction wagons and a range of industrial and marine two-stroke diesel engines. A vehicle register will be set up and there are plans for an annual rally and a quarterly magarine.
