• ServiceBond is a new scheme which enables operators of postAugust 91 Iveco Fords to buy two years maintenance for a single, inflation-proof fee.
By capping labour rates, standardising parts discounts and agreeing a common price on oils the company has been able to iron out regional cost variations.
An operator in the scheme will receive a book of vouchers which can be exchanged at any dealer for services and inspections. The dealers will manage the operators' service records for DOT and 0-licence purposes.
Vehicles in ServiceBond will automatically qualify for unlimited second-year warranty on the driveline and Assistance NonStop, the manufacturer's panEuropean recovery service.
