Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AParagraph (5) of Regulation 56 of the Goods Vehicle (Plating and Testing) Regulations 1971 exempts from plating and testing vehicles used under the Motor Vehicles (Authorisation of Special Types) General Order 1973.

However, if such a vehicle is used for general transport work, eg not for carrying abnormal indivisible loads, then it would have to comply with the plating and testing regulations as well as with C and U Regulations.
