Haulage Association off the ground when they held their first meeting in Birmingham recently.

Over 70 people attended the meeting and the Young Executive Section hopes to have a potential membership of around 180 people between the ages of 18 and 35.

The meeting discussed the constitution and rules of the section, all of which are to be ratified by the RHA's national council and appointed a steering committee to hold office until the first annual general meeting in May 1978.

RHA commercial officer Richard Mullarm key told CM there was a lot of interest in the a new section. m "Those who attended the meeting covered the complete range of jobs in the industry, E. and there is a lot of potential in the section." Also attending the meeting was RHA E national chairman Jack Male.
