A TENDER by Bristol Commercial Vehicles Ltd. for six bus chassis is to be accepted by Coventry City Council transport committee. The chassis are RESL type of 16 ft. 2 in. wheelbase with rear-mounted Gardner 6HLW engines and air suspension; total net cost is £19,484.

Other municipal acceptances include one by Rawtenstall Corporation for three single-deck coach bodies by East Lancashire Coach Builders Ltd., for £2,990 each, and Sheffield Corporation's agreement to purchase a small singledeck bus body from Cravens Homalloy Ltd., for £2,400. It will have a Bedford VAS chassis supplied by Bentley Bros.
