Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

OVER 72 per cent. of the vehicles offered by the British Transport Commission in lists up to R.5 have been sold, it was announced on Tuesday evening. In the second special Scottish list (Sc.2), 90 per cent of the vehicles have found buyers. With decisions deferred on 364 of the 808 vehicles offered in list R.5, over 47 per cent. have been sold.

A third special Scottish list (Sc.3) and a new general list (No. 10) are to be issued.

Excluding lists 9 and S.4. 18,347 chides have been put up for sale and 3,269 have been disposed of.

List Sc,2 comprises five units and 04 vehicles. Four of the units (184 chides) have been sold. Tenders for he other unit (20 vehicles) have been ejected.

R.5 totals 373 units (808 vehicles). tesults of tenders for units with prenises are as follows: Accepted, four tnits (54 vehicles); rejected, one unit 23 vehicles); deferred, four units (107 'chides); total, nine units (184 'chides). Vehicle-only units (general laulage): Accepted, 193 units (323 'chides): rejected, 19 units (34

vehicles); deferred, 150 units (257 vehicles); total, 362 units (614 vehicles). Contract-hire units: Accepted, two units (10 vehicles).

List Sc.3 will consist of some 800 vehicles, most of which were offered in the first special Scottish list and are now re-offered mainly in the same units as before. It will be published on March 23 and tenders have to be submitted by April 27.

List 10 will contain about 1,000 vehicles, all in small units without premises, most of which have not been offered before. It will be advertised on April 20 and tenders will dose on May 25.
