Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Commercial Motor has teamed up with industry expert Tachodisc in order to provide handy pocket-size guides that can help keep your drivers on the right side of the Law.

Recent research from the European Traffic Police Network demonstrates that UK lorry drivers commit more drivers' hours violations than any other kind of road traffic offence.

However, that said, there's a good chance that many of those violations will be caused by a basic misunderstanding of the drivers' hours rules, as well as an unfamiliarity with digital tachographs.

With the arrival of the digitach, HGV and PSV drivers have not only had to learn how to operate a digital tachograph, but also understand what the various symbols and icons displayed on its digital display mean.

Last year, there were also a number of minor amendments to the drivers' hours laws, including how long a driver should keep analogue charts with them before handing them into the traffic office.

How can you make sure your drivers are staying legal?

Commercial Motor has teamed up with industry expert Tachodisc to help you keep them compliant with drivers' hours laws.

We're giving away 300 Tachodisc "Legislation Update" pocket cards which provide drivers with a handy and siniple-to-understand summary of the latest drivers' hours regs including: • Maximum driving periods for each day, week or fortnight • Mandatory rest periods and how they can be split • Chart retention information • And digitach download guidance
