Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A new Turbostar model, a Daily van with increased load volume, and new high-capacity integral vans to replace the Z range are among the launches planned by Iveco Ford for this year.

The new Turbostar has the latest, 268kW (360hp) air-towater charge-cooled version of the 13.8 itre in-line six-cylinder engine which powers the 190.30 and 220.30. Hitherto, UK specification Turbostars have been available only with th 17 litre vee-eight Iveco engine with a maximum power rating, to the EEC 80/1269 standard, of 313kW. These will continue to be available, but the 190.36, as the two-axle new tractor is designated, will carry a retail price about £3,000 less than its more powerful stablemate, has a lower kerb weight and should give better fuel economy than its 330hp predecessor.

The 190.36's engine has been developed from a chargecooled, 246kW unit which has been sold in mainland Europe since Turbostars were launched two years ago.

Like both current Turbostar engines, the 360hp 8210,42 is a low revving unit, developing maximum power at 1,800rpm and maximum torque of 1,766Nm (1,3031bft) at 1,000rpm. Among the mechanical changes on the latest engine are low-friction pistons with three instead of four rings, higher pressure fuel injection equiment with faster injection, and a new water pump which is gear-, rather than belt-driven.

Iveco Ford says the new engine has been designed to meet the latest European noise and exhaust emission limits. The right-hand-drive 190.36 will become available in July,
