Hartford Motors has supplied one of the first righthand-drive TurboStar tractive units — seen for the first time at the Birmingham Motor Show last October — to the appropriately-named British owner-driver John Bull.
Bull's 190.42 is a 6x2 model featuring a rear tag axle conversion carried out be Vehicle Systems Engineering using its own VSE/Turner 201 suspension. The 6x2 configuration gives the TurboStar maximum loading flexibility at 38-tonnes GCW.
Humberside-based Bull is a previous operator of Ford Transcontinentals and will use the 6x2 TurboStar on work between Britain and Spain.
