Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• ERF has won its first order from the Ministry of Defence since the Second World War. Two 6x4 ERF El0 tractive units fitted with a wide range of equipment that makes them exceptionally versatile will be used by all three armed forces.

The 32-tonne GCW ERFs are fitted with Hiab 140A cranes, Neate front and rear towing jaws (with an auxiliary drawbar coupling at the rear) in addition to their conventional fifth wheel couplings.

They will be used for hauling palletised ammunition throughout the UK, and offroad on a South Wales firing range for lifting and towing. The chassis-mounted crane has a seven-tonne capacity at a reach of 1.7m, and dual manual extensions give it a maximum reach of 10.9m.

The MOD specified the standard E 10 driveline comprising Cummins LTA10290 engine, Eaton Twin Splitter 12-speed gearbox and Rockwell SRHD tandem-drive bogie with inter-axle and crossaxle differential looks.
